In addition to repairing an old HP Laserjet 4 (remember those?), we're shopping for a quality inkjet that can work directly with a digital camera and handle 100 or so pages/day from 100+ users. Thus far, the HP Photosmart 1115C ($199)and 1215vm ($279) stand out. 25ml ink wells seem standard (shame - I do so miss the 40ml cartridges).

Any suggestions? buyer beware stories?

Prints good color images for an inkjet.

I use an epson 900 at home. it is great for photos, fast, uses big fat ink wells and will accept a net card. I do not have the card though. We have a pair of hp 200 at work. they do the job and have large add-on paper trays. If you are printing double-sided items you will have to wait overnight to do the second side or else the quality of the second side is greatly reduced. The batch has to dry out completly so proper contact with the printheads is achieved. other than that, the 200 is a workhorse.

thx vlier - you mean "... the 900 is a workhorse?"
