I have a Cisco Pix 501 FireWall connected to a Cable Internet Connection, and I am about to add in my Cisco 2514 Router, whats a good switch to get to practice with? I will only have 2 pc's and a server on the network connected to the internet...

Thanks!

The 1900EN switch will do fine i prefer the 24 port with the last 2 ports being 100Mbs.

I agree. Get the lowest model with 2 Fast Ethernet Interfaces for trunking and Inter-VLAN routing. However, I do not think your model router is ISL capable to handle inter-VLAN routing, I think you need a 2611 at minimum but I could be wrong.

Find the sweet spot on the cost-technology curve. The cost difference between a 1900 and a 2900 isn't that much. I think you'd be happier with a 2924XL. (The enterprise code, for VLAN ability, is free since Cisco defines it as end of life)
