I have 2 power edge servers, and was wondering what a good tempature is. I just installed an AC unit just for the server room. and would like to know what I should run it at.

Thank you,
Jason

Basically the lower the better...

We keep our server room at 18c, a client site runs just fine at 25-28c though. The important thing is what temperature does the room get to if the A/C is switched off overnight or on a weekend? You should be OK with just 2 servers but our room would hit 35c+ and cause the servers to shut down so we actually have 3 A/C units in the room for redundancy.

Ok thats what I had it set at looks like im good then, Thats why I put it in because it was getting very very hot over the weekend and over night. It was probably getting to about 90F-100F because they were shutting off the main AC unit durring those times.

Thank you,
Jason
