slightly differnt set of parameters from before so he goes, a Hotel/motel call board, 8 to 10 physical analog sets, that the user picks up the phone and dials the 3 digit number to speed call whomever it is they want to reach, there would be 5-6 ls/gs lines going into it
feature wise i would like the following 1. to be able to remotely (via PC) or locally change the speed call number, 2nd I would like to be able to save the speed call to a card that would be non-volate memory in case of a power outage or something simular.
I know the Later versions of partner from Avaya will do this, but I don't know what will specifically do this under the Nortel or other manufactures,

Because Partner supports analog stations without additional hardware, it is a "natural" for this application. It does all that you have defined. Partner ACS release 7 supports five CO lines and nine stations (either analog or proprietary keyset)in base module, and can be expanded in 308 increments. What more could you want?

This is great for small hotels as the phone in the room has a room dirty / room clean facility so the front desk will know when housekeeping has finished a room and it is ready for check in.

supports room to room and has a built in billing app.

can be managed remotely via a modem

the mainboard is battery backed so it will retain it's config after a power fail.

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months

I agree the partner would be a natural for this application, but I was interested in what else out there would "fit the bill"

I think that virtually every key system in current production CAN do this task. Some may require more parts than others to make the analog stations work...
