What would you replace MM with?

We are due to upgrade our MM servers. We don't use email or fax. It it really bothering me upgrading something that doesn't have any enhanced reporting, and I don't think Avaya is ever going to fix that 5 minute login timeout on the Messaging Administration screen! (ASA never times out!)

Has anyone replaced MM with something else? All we really want is something to email voicemails and turn on MWIs.

If you don't use email why do you want to have something to email voicemails?

Depending on your email system there might be other alternatives out there for you. Aura Messaging, Microsoft Exchange's UM feature (2007 and later), Cisco's Unity, etc.

The 5 minute login timeout is a Security feature of the Modular Messaging and for this reason it isn't broken so it won't be fixed.
