S8300 with internal SES
S8800 server MM5.2 integrated with SIP
MM5.2 running SP3 & SP3 patch 2

MAS installed and configured so mm service group and service account & permissions appear to be correct.

mm permissions checker validating the above as well but have seen posts about this not be a valid source.

Also had the data vendor check above information.

System answering calls -

Users getting email with wav file attached

MWI going on and off as they should when not seeing 1233

system answering with " I'm sorry there is a problem with the system , normal access to your mailbox is not available"

but messages are getting to peer mail store and not sitting in the off -line spool folder on the MAS server.

MAS Corp NIC port set to 100 / Full disabled the other 2 NIC ports on the S8800.

Getting events:

Event 1319: off-line with peer store

Event 1233:

Domain Service manager: cannot get the voicemail domain property

HRESULT 8004108 check that the peer mail service and its mail services are running

This event can be safely disregarded if it occurs during server initialization.

Event 1741:

Domain Service manager: voicemail domain property usefully retrieved

Event 1320 (on-line with peer mail)

But getting the 1320, 1319 then 1233 - restart the MM MAS service and it seems fine for an hour or so and repeats the error and condtion.

S8300 is on the same subnet as the MAS.

Any thoughts as to what the cause maybe as Avaya is going to ask for the mm permissions checker and say the group, svc account & permissions are fine its network related would be my thoughts.

cheers:)

It seems that the mail server is going off line. Is it Exchange 2007? And if so is it running on 2008 and is the SD running on 2008?
