Hello everyone. Trying to catch up on all the good stuff happening in Winform dev and controls...

Can someone please tell me the name of the control displayed in attached image? This is taken from the column definition GUI in SSMS 2005. For instance, when defining an identity column, there is a table containing value-pair items. There are collapsable groups ((General), Table Designer) and, within each group, collapsable items that contain value-pair elements (Table Designer -> Identity Specification -> Identity Seed). What is the name of this particular type of listview?

Thanks for your help.

[PS: I thought it was possible to attach a file to the post but it' s not. But if you open any table in design mode you will see what I am talking about]

how does this relate to C#? SSMS is a MS SQL Server 2005 query tool. You may wan to ask in forum183.

Since I am not sure about its name, I used SSMS as an example of where the control I am talking about is used. So anyone willing to help can go to SSMS, open a table in design mode and look the control in action. Does that answer your question? I looked for a Winform forun before mind you (since controls will be used with any of the .NET languages).

what you describe sounds like a composite control composed of many smaller controls. I do not believe there is a default control that does this. you would either need to build it or use a 3rd party GUI library which includes this type of control.
