I am in the market for a new Video Card. I am wondering, my motherboard is a Gigabyte K7 Triton 400 or something is there any cards that i shouldnt use with this?

The only thing to be careful of, is the power connection. Some newer vid cards need a seperate wire from your power supply, which you may not have.

Gigabyte K7 Triton 400 is still a fairly potentant setup but is yesterdays technology, that is to say that there would be little point in spending £300+ on the latest Nvidia 7800 or Radeon X850 GPU as it would be severely restricted by other aspects of this mainboard/chipset and CPU.

Depending on budget???? your system is likely to run various cards of this genre very well ie:

ATI Radeon 9800Pro
Nvidia FX5900XT/ultra etc
The above mentioned being pretty well matched and high end for this era of mainboard.

Further down the scale maybe a radeon 9600Pro/XT or Nvidia FX5700ultra would be good middle range choices.

I know several users who get great results from the much newer Nvidia 6600GT range when used on a slightly older platform like yours.

If you give us some idea of budget and a better description of your PC spec we can advise in more detail.
