What we mean by shelf no in kx-ns500..? What shelf refer to..? What they mean by that..? And why we cant connect dss cosole key with digital port from digital ext, forexample: i have DT546 and i try to use digital port from it to run dss console, but that doesnt work until i connect the dss console with digital port from my pbx, in my case kx-ns500.

DSS-console can't work if it is connected to the "TO TEL" port of a digital phone. This port can be used only for another telephone connection but not for DSS-console connection.
DSS-console MUST be connected to a DLC or DHLC port directly. It doesn't support DXDP-connection.
Please refer to an "Installation Manual" of your PBX before making any connections.
