I'm using W2K SP1 and would like to know if there is a way of finding out the version of the TCP/IP stack that is running.

I've looked in all the obvious area, I think, but no information. Is there somewhere else? Is it a generic version?

I only assume there is a version attached to it like most other software.

Regards
Tim

IP v4 is the Familier xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Addressing almost everyone uses, the new IPv6 is 128 bit addresses, it is not supported my any MS OS yet that I know of.

there is a sort of version set of the MS implementation of IP. The first major one that worked was in 95. This had problems and was updated in the MSDUN updater which was subsequently rolled into 98. I don't believe there have been any significant revisions since.
