What version of Crystal Reports is recommended

Hello,

I just wanted some thoughts as to the best version of Crystal Reports to use with Goldmine 6 ?

I am currently using Crystal Reports 9 with Goldmine and create custom reports using this version. I do know of the problems with using Crystal Reports 9 with Goldmine.

Would it be better to use an earlier version or the latest version for Crystal Reports?

I initially had some installation problems but was able to work around them.

I will be soon starting another office and don't want to experience any nightmares. Time is of the essence with this new office and don't need any surprises.

GM6 is supported with CR8.5 and GM65 above is supported with CR9.

There are no issues however in using GM6 with CR9 as long as you copy over the dll's correctly.

Please be aware that you cn only run a crystal report from within GoldMine if it addresses GoldMine tables. The report will not work if the report uses any external tables.
