What uses more filespace?

Utilizing macros to open queries, reports, etc or coding those same commands in visual basic?

I know it's off the wall, but I always wondered if I should convert all the macros to visual basic to save on filespace and smooth operations. Our current database is 15MB when compacted. Thanks for your help!
