I have extensivly searched groups.google.com to see what was recommended as a Study Guide for Network+.
The general agreement was: SYBEX!!
Although Mike Myers has produced quality books in the past, mamy ppl warned to steer clear of his book for the Net+. They seemed to say he was too vague on this topic. What I am looking for is book that alone will contain enough info to help me pass the test. (I did pass the M$ Networking Essentials a few years ago - Isn't it simular?) Of course I will look for free test guides and questions on the net, but the majority of my learning should come from the book.
Now, I understand that the Network+ exam has recently under gone some changes. For this reason, I am searching for the most modern (but best rated) book available. Sybex is supposed to release a Net+ book this month, yet I'm having a hard time locating more info on it... Anyone know more about this book?
Thoughts/opinions anyone??
TIA
