What type of printer?

Is there a printer out there that can cope with different thicknesses of paper and card? I've heard that printing on card or paper which maybe thicker can eventually stretch the distance between the rollers, therefore it could eventually cause problems in feeding. Any help please.

Thanks

Steve

Are you looking for an ink or laser printer or perhaps another type of printer technology ?

Hi

I'd be interested to find about Ink and Laser.

Some of the earlier CANON inkjets had a nearly straight through print path and could handle card stock in addition to paper.

Can you consider dot matrix? Oki, Brother, and Epson bottom feeds can handle thicker forms. But you need pin feed forms.

everything is on springs... the thickness wouldn't matter unless you jammed it. Most printers are able to handle from standard paper to envelopes.... as long as its not a super rigid stock.. I don't think any standard printer would have trouble.

And if it is really rigid I would just look for something with a straight path...
