I am cleaning up old accounts/objects on several servers AD.. I have several Items Identified as user accounts, but do not show up as such.. What type of an object would be identified like this?
S-1-5-21-1013083955-3031003544-1497960530-1309,
S-1-5-21-1013083955-3031003544-1497960530-1286, etc...
Searching through the Directory, I cannot find any reference to the "object"..

Thanks much,
goatman

Those are user SIDs (security identifiers) that Windows cannot resolve to a 'friendly' form. Typically this is because users from a trusted domain have been given permissions on an object, and now that domain is not available for Windows to query.
