Hello everyone, I have been getting funny errors when i try to reinstall Windows XP. I installed XP few months ago and it seems to work fine but last weekend it started acting funnily so i tried to reinstall it and it comes up with this error Note:Here g:/ is my cd rom drive
ERROR!!"
SXS.DLL-syntax error in manifest or policy file
"G:\I386\asms\6000\msft\windows\common\controls\controls.man on line 0
Installation failed: Manifest Parse error: Invalid at the top of level of the document
One of the component that windows needs to continue set up couldnot be installed "
And then it stops
What shall i do?
Can some one explain to me what is this and what is the cure for this?
Thanks in advance for your help
