What type of fiber hardware and cable are needed for T1/DS1 data transmision? Short Distance. What critical Information do I need?

TouchToneTommy can help you on this one. I can't recall the exact name of the hardware, but he once encountered a Fiber T1 emulation setup for a Merlin Magix system.

As far as the cable, I'd assume multimode fiber would be sufficient.

hi all, looking into setting new building up with existing network from othe building. I have 3 servers connected to firewall using dsl. Have a new building and wanting some ideas as to how to connect it to existing network structure?

I was thinking fiber over from existing to new one and just setup some switches on the new building?
