What type of exe...

Hello,

I am wondering what type of exe to build for clients
running some win98,ME and win2k,XP machines. I have had some
problems trying to figure this out. I am mainly concerned
which type to build for my users running the latter of the
bunch.
I can run a stand-alone (extended) with no problem, but
feel the need to build just a stand-alone exe that would
use emm services. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
