First off, I just got my first job since college. My boss tasked me with finding a way to move our old servers to the new servers. We have a file server and a Domain Controller. We are using Xcopy to move files over from the old servers to the new servers! Users have to be able to map too their network drives R: and K:?!?!?!?! How is this done without having to go to each computer and mapping to these network drives? Thanks for any assistance in advanced!!!???!?!?!

TreGeek,

This isn't really a project management issue. You should try another forum. I would have thought you would simply re-DNS the new servers to look like the old ones but then again I'm just a project manager...

Agree with BNPMike. Although it would be useful to develop a Project Plan for this project, what you are asking is what tasks constitute the plan, and that is more of a server/network question than a true PM question.
