Set up a disposable email account with your ISP or Yahoo, Msn... somebody. Only use that account when requesting information from the web or anywhere else you feel the need to submit you email address to. This is where you're probably getting most of you junk email from. Then, when you start to get bombarded with junk mail to that address... delete it. We are always looking for new members at: forums.jlrforum.net Please come join our community too.
You can't really stop it at the source (by this I mean don't respond to SPAM messages or click on the link to be removed in the SPAM message as this just confirms your address to them).
The best way to manage junk e-mail is through rules that filter them out and check with your ISP if they offer some spam filters for blocking known SPAM senders from reaching your account. (i.e. Earthlink offers "spaminator",...)
With rules setup one to filter out domains by country in relation to where your spam is coming from, another by company domain name and one by subject. Then you can add to your rules as spam hits your mailbox to filter out some common variable(s).
