What to do with an O2? 1

I was looking through a pile of garbage in the server room and found two SGI machines in a box. It looks like they're both O2s. I was just wondering if they were useful for anything? No one I know works with graphics, are they worth keeping or should I salvage them? Any thoughts welcome!

I use an O2 on a daily basis as a unix desktop workstation.
They don't have to be used for graphics work.
If they are working, I certainly wouldn't ditch them.

Thanks for your reply, trunix! Do you know if it's possible to install the GCC compiler on an O2 or is there another way to get programs/utilities for it?

There is a gcc compiler and an abundance of other free software.
