What to do after client installation?

I have installed the solaris netbackup client. Right now I do not know how to test it?

You will need to create a test class on the Master Server and run a test backup

I'm trying to make it but on backup/restore configuration I put the name of the box but I cannot browse the directories. The files and directories that appear are from the MASTER!!

How can I test the connection between the master and the client througth VERITAS?

Go to

http://support.veritas.com

and choose your version of the software and search for the Admin Guide. I have no clue as how you set up your client or any information about the master.

If you cannot browse, you either have a DNS issue or the computer is not in the servers list. Use the bpclntcmd to test communications.
