I have a form thats set to open automatically, using Start Up options. But what I want is only that form on the screen.....nothing else, no menus or toolbars.
You can go to Tools -> Startup and un-check the check boxes for Full Menus etc., but you will still be left with a basic Access menu.
Another way you could try is to set your form to be Maximised when it opens and set Pop Up to Yes (Form Properties -> Other). This will make the form full screen but will also hide the Windows taskbar.
In the startup options you can uncheck the box that shows the database window. Holding down the shift key while you open the database will make it show up, as will hitting F11.
You can make the database more secure than that by disallowing the special keys from the same menu and putting in some code to disable the shift key. But doing this requires some involved code, and dilligent backups. If you want that code, let me know, and I'll post it.
Please post in the appropriate forum with a descriptive subject; code and SQL, if referenced; and expected results. See thread181-473997 for more pointers.
