HI jst wondering if anyone knows what the best way to keep track of DID'd (Direct-In-Dials) is? And is there a way of knowing which DID is active opposed to inactive? Can you find out by dialing? Will it give you a certain message>?

ld 20, prt, ludn, enter the first digit of your did range
return.. you'll get a list of unused numbers in your did range...

Hi,

Go into LD 20
REQ: PRT
TYPE: LUDN

This will give you a list of all free numbers in the switch. The switch doesn't know which numbers are DID and Non DID, so you must figure that out by yourself

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed... Oh wait, he does...

Ld 20 will work only if you are not using an IDC table to convert the number (ld49). As far as calling the number if it is not assigned anywhere it should ring to the console.

it will ring where ever rdr sends it, my vacant go to a non-working number ran. good catch on the idc, should like he's just looking for a ludn, may be not. does a phone bill have the did number range your paying for. i've never seen one.

unassigned DIDs will ring to the console if they're configured that way in your CDB. That may be the default (not sure off the top of my head) but that parameter can be changed. the fourth option to the right (ATN) shows my unassigned DIDs will ring to my attendant. If I set this fourth option to OVF callers will get overflow tone

INT_DATA

ACCD OVF OVF OVF ATN
CTVN OVF OVF OVF ATN (call to vacant DN field)
MBNR OVF OVF OVF ATN
CTRC OVF NAP OVF NAP
CLDN NAP OVF NAP NAP
NINV OVF OVF OVF ATN
NITR OVF OVF OVF ATN
NRES OVF OVF OVF ATN
NBLK OVF OVF OVF ATN
RCLE ATN OVF ATN ATN

that is the default, but never beleive that someone didn't change it. I have been seen switches that they just did ring no answer. not a good idea, but it happens.

Speaking of this, how would on define a unassigned DID to go to an intercept RAN instead of the operator?

i use a maxp 1 acd.. ld 23 new acd (dn) down to maxp (1) down to ncfw and point that to any dn in your switch. with no agents built, that group always goes to the Night Call forward.. works int and ext.. for ext only use the idc table, to send it to the ran acod..
