What speed should I expect?

I'm trying to evaluate 8.6 backing up to a network drive. Right now I'm only getting 100mb/min doing this. Should I expect speeds like this or am I doing something wrong?

Have you installed the Remote Bsckup Agents?

I didn't install the remote agents because I'm just using the demo version to see if it will do what I need. Will that make a huge difference? Do I need the remote agent on on the machine I'm pulling files from and the machine I'm backing up to?

For any server other than your primary backup server you will need to load the remote agent. Search the Veritas site for "manual install of remote agent" if you need to install it.

I'm not sure about the speed, I'm also interested in what others' have to say about it.
