What software for encrypting emails?

I have already checked on PGP but my boss wants me to check on the prices of some other products that can encrypt emails (and their attachments). It would need to be able to work even if the receiver of an email at another company does not have any encryption product. The message would have to go across encrypted then by decrypted by the receiver (maybe with a passphrase, etc) at the other end. If you know of any other products like this please let me know. I already know about Tumbleweeds. Thank you very much in advance for your help!
