Presently iam running a stong system but would like to run a second system only for the purpose of a dedicated game server,"Medal Of Honor-Spearhead".I don't want to waste money on a weak system that wont do the job,I think i can get away with a used pentium 111 and add a full gig of ram,but if iam wrong iam stuck with a second pc and need to build a third.Any input or ideas would be much appreciated before i waste any money on this project.P.S. recommended requirment for this game is 700 MHz pentium 111, 128MB of ram, 64MB video.Thanks for your time to read my thread.

For the money, I would build a new Athlon Xp2000+ system, probably cost as much as a used PIII now.
If you can find a deal on a PIII 800EB (133mhz FSB) or faster, then it will do the job nicely.
A gig of onboard RAM, and Win2k pro or XP pro (unless you're delving into the Linux arena).
Any old video card that can play the game will work (for testing), unless you plan on playing the game on the machine as well. Cheers,
