On my church's website ( I want to include a listing of the sermons, but I would like to have the capability to have someone search an Access database of sermons. Someone told me I need ASP for that (thus my posting under ASP).

Right now Im using FrontPage 2000 (I know I know, I'll move to Dreamweaver later), and I want to change my web host company. (Because they are not responding to my requests)

IN the future, I want users to be able to access a sermon database, and also complete and submit a form I create that will be forwarded to me, and have audio samples of the sermons on the site as a hyperlink that a user can click and listen to (not download). What should I look for in my next web hosting service?

to handle database connections, it's better to use some kind of server side language --> ask your (new?) isp which languages it allows you to use, and then choose the language you feel more at ease with
also, your database will be hosted server side - ask the isp which database format it supports

If you are using access you might want them to support OBDC so you can link your Access database to your web site live. Access is not the best online database configuration though. If you have a lot of data you may want to move to a more robust database like mySQL. If you decided to add your sermons to an online database and maintain them there you could make edits live. I think that would be your best bet!

Any web development company can help with this, your new web hosting comapny could probably help as well.
