In eportfolio I am still experiencing the classic "Requires more information" screen, which contains a database logon screen that I cannot get past. In the CMC>Object Manager>Database Tab it asks for Server, Database, User, and Password. What server is it asking me for? I have the cluster as a virtual server, which is where the database is physically located, I have the actual server. I have tried switching the Job Server and Page server logon accounts to administrator, which is the same account that SQL Server uses in its access tab. Im thoroughly frustrated with this thing.

Hi,
The database is the one defined in the report as the data source for that report.

In the CMC, look at the Report's Database tab..
What datasouce is shown?

Turk,
Thanks for your patience. I got it past the logon screen by setting up a new account in IIS. Thats why it wouldnt let me in, the account in CE couldnt get into IIS to see the webpage. Now I can use that account to see the report. On a couple of the reports, it does not prompt me for a database log in at all now (which is how I want it). On some it still does, and I can view the report by entering the new username and password, but I dont see anythign different between the ones that prompt, and the ones that dont. I do NOT have "prompt user for log in" checked in the object manager. Why else would it be prompting me.? Turk, you are the man for continuously answering my posts!!

In the CMC, is the correct username/password set and saved on the database tabs for those reports that still prompt?

Yes it is set properly. I found that if I delete the report from CE and re-import it from CR 8.0, it works fine. Not sure what's different. I still had to reset the datasource like I did before, but now it works. As always though, one solution begets another problem. Now when I try to print from the browser it wants to install Crystalviewer PDF everytime, instead of just printing the report. I haven't even started on this little hitch yet, so I'm not too stressed about it. Thanks again for another helpful response. Soon, perhaps I will be able to offer help instead of being on the receiving end !
