Hi.
I would like to get my hands on really cheap memory sticks on Ebay for my Mother in Law's PC.

she has an older IBM personal Computer, PL 300 6565 85F

it has 2 slots and I beleive I can get up to 1 MO of sdram PC 133 168pins Dimm

but how can I make sure there won't be an imcompatibility ussue with the sticks? is it the latency I have to be refull with? or what else?

TIA
stef

Sometimes custom computer shops have lots of old systems or hardware laying around that people dont need anymore.

Sometimes PC133 came in double sided pieces which sometimes were incompatible with some older computers. It had to do with the density of the Chips or something like that. Usually PC133 can be found in any old Tulatin Core PIII that is laying around. Would have to be from the most recent models of a PIII. I still have an Asus Tulatin Core 1.2 gig PIII running at home. It runs great.

Specify the machine in the search. There are system deconstructors that sell the parts by machine and manufacturer.
I suspect that machine shares memory with the netvistas.
