I got a software that currently connects to a few Access97 dbs for getting and writing certain data etc.
I am in the development of migrating these databases to SQL Server 7 format.

My questions is,
What "runtime-files" do I need to install on the clients computers, cause installing the whole SQL Server package is out of question. I think there must be a way to connect to this SQL Server 7 db through our software without having SQL Server installedare on every computer that runs our software. I've read something about the MSDE thingy...Maybe that's a way to do it.

I appreciate any help you can give me.
//Jonas J (db developer)
