Hi, I'm trying to find out what process is writing to a text log file.

lsof <filename> will show processes which have the file open.

Hi - thanks for the reply but I posted this in the wrong forum - I'm actually using Unix (SCO) and it doesn't seem to have this command.

Thanks anyway :)
