I just applied the Windows XP service pack 2 and now I can't map to another xp computer. What port do I need to open for mapping to work?

Thank you,

ljCharlie

have you considered just blowing away that firewall? you really only need that on the computer/device that separates your private network from the public internet.

The thing is, our network can be accessed from the Internet and that is why I want to know what that port is. However, I wonder if sp2 firewall will allow me to put in IP address to accept and/or denied access. If this is possible, it is much easier to configure.

Thanks!
