I don't do Nortel, and my guys who do took a long weekend. What type of phone sets are used on what systems to do programming on nortels via a phone set?

on the newer systems you will need a two line display phone such as a 7310 or the 7424 phone, I do know these do work.

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm

Older 3x8, 6x16 and 8x24 Norstars running DR1 and I think DR2 software will not support a 7324 or 7316 for programming or as a digital station. Something to keep in mind.

I keep a beater 7310 in my truck for programming, works on all Norstar and BCM systems - particularly for sites that are all 7208's (you can program on those - the show, next, back and heading keys are in different places - they're a pain though for reasons mentioned above), or if I can't find a desk with a suitable phone for me to use at a customer site and I gotta hide out in the janitor's closet or boiler room where the Norstar is located.
