What PC-based DB2-client software needed to connect to DB2 server?

We have successfully replaced our old version of DB2 server with DB2 version 8.2, running on Solaris. Everything runs like a champ. We want to upgrade a Windows client with the appropriate DB2 client software to access the Solaris DB2 V8.2 server.

What specific downloadable client software should I be looking for on the IBM DB2 site? (A specific link would be nice to ensure that I don't goof it up.)

Thanks,

Becca

Becca,

You would need some components from the DB2 runtime client to access the databases on the server.

Usually runtime and administration clients are provided with the entire software package.

I believe however that IBM has also updated the client set of tools for version 8, so terminology may have changed as well....
