what packages can be used with Personal Oracle9I /

I am upgrading to Oracle 9i and want to know what oracle packages work with it.

I tried installing Oracle Professional on a Windows 98 machine and it wouldn't work with that Version of windows.

I tried Personall Oracle on the same machine and that installed and seems to work.

Can I use Developer with Oracle Personal version?

As I am using the Personall version to develop the system what happens when I try distribute the developed system out to the users on the Network? What goes out on the network?

Developer may run against any version of Oracle database, moreover it may run with any ODBC datasource. Precaution: install them into different oracle homes or read manuals very carefully.

As for distribution, with 3-tier deployment your forms may be launched from java-enabled browser with no aditional software installed on the client side. In standard configuration even JVM (JInitiator) is installed on-demand from your server.
