what node is commonly populated with users?

Hi all,

I'm working on a software that can be configured to retrieve user names and passwords from an LDAP server. For testing purposes, I have installed the Apache LDAP on my local machine.

I don't know that much about LDAP but need to populate it manually with an amount of test data.

Is there a "standard" or "typical" location within the structure where users and passwords are stored?

And what would be a common location to store computers?
