what licences do i need?

hi all

we currently have 4 servers with their own tape device doing backups and have got backup exec licences for each server

we are going to replace those with a NAS and then just have 1 tape device backing up the NAS

i do silll need remote access licences for each of my servers or do i not need any at all because i'll be backign up from the NAS?

You might want to read this:

Basically, you will need a combination of:

1. BE Core
2. Shared Storage Option (SSO) - each server using the SAN must have a SEPARATE license purchased
3. Library Expansion Option (LEO) - one license can be SHARED on every server that has SSO installed

There may be more options/agents needed depending on your situation, but this is your starting point.
