What Kind of Parallel Port PCI Card For IBM 4029 Laser Printer?

I want to take my old IBM 4029-030 laser printer and connect it to my newer Dell Inspiron Computer with Vista since my newer Dell printer has been having problems. I’ve been told that a Parallel Port PCI card is the best way to connect it to the Dell and not a USB/Parallel Port Adapter.

Can anyone tell me what type of Parallel Port PCI card the 4029 needs (i.e. EPP, BCC , Bidirectional, etc)? Thanks.

We have had no trouble with USB/Parallel adaptors. If not,
I would consider a little print server like this
