Sure, I can look on the front panel but is there a command that will tell me that my box is an E450, E6000, etc.?

uname -a produces the following output

SunOS pma1591d03x 5.6 Generic_105181-05 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise

What tells me it is an E450?

run this command:
/usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v |more

Look toward the top part of the message
