What kind of Epson printer is this and where's the best source?

We have an Epson TM-U220B printer with an auto-cutter that needs to be replaced. It is used as part of a Micros system in the kitchen to print the food tickets on 2-part paper. Either the printer head or the spool mechanism is bad and it's not worth repairing. I know what printer model to order, but I'm not sure what kind of CONNECTION PORT to order. Seems there are several options when I search this model on various retailer websites. Also, can you recommend a good source with the best prices for these types of printers? I have attached a link to view photos that show the back of the printer. What do I order? And here's the big question: Will I be able to simply exchange it with the old printer and plug it in right out of the box, or will there be programming involved where I will have to pay for a service tech from Micros to get me up and running again? I have a price from Micros but I am hoping to get this accomplished more inexpensively on my own.

this is a serial interface (RS232).

Be sure to open up the bottom and note the internal dip switch settings. You may have to change the printer you purchase.

Agree with the previous post.

They are easy to find. The converter is a whole different story (the little black key that goes into the back of the printer) Micros does not carry those anymore you will have to purchase those somewhere else.

They are called SR232 to J11 (i think) adaptors
