We are going to swapping our Backup software from Arcserve to either Symantec Netbackup or Commvault Galaxy. Its imperative that it works well with the Filers and our NetApp VTL. Both have said they do and both are NetApp partners. But I would be curious as to what you use and your experience.
Thanks in advance.

Commvault has the advantage is understands the netapp snapshots, so you can backup snapshots.Netbackup is commonly used ,works well with VTL as well.

What are you backing up, and what are your backup/restore requirements. Compare that to the specific product features to find your answer.
