what is zonemap\domains in my registry and why is it mostly PORN? 1

I was looking in my registry (regedit find) for "once" like in Run Once to see where a certain program was being run (started) and found a reference to Beyonce (the singer).

I know who she is but have never done a search on her.

I navigated backwards to see where I was in the registry and found I was at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains
In here I see about 500+ domains (most of which are obvious PORN sites) and wondered why they are here, I certainly haven't visited any of these sites.

Does anyone know what this is?

Its the list of sites your Antispyware applications and Internet Explorer label as dangerous or malicious.

Its a good thing the list is there as it lets your browser know what sites are potentially dangerous.

Well thank you very much, my wife was suspicious and now I have an answer.

The only porn site I've been to was when I inadvertently went to

http://www.whitehouse.com/

instead of .gov and she was right next to me.

Famous/notorious domain that looks like one thing but is very much something else. Much to the chagrin of many parents, no doubt.
