What is wrong with Explorer ?

Hi there,
Recently my install of Win 2000 has started to act funny because whenever I try to copy a file in explorer I get the following error:

"The instruction at "0x03083af6 referenced memory at "0x0000000". The memory could not be "Written".

Click ok to terminate the program
Click on cancel to debug the program."

Has anyone seen this before, I am now beginning to get it on another PC except in a different app......
