What is my wrong in this code for dialing ???

VARIANT var;
CString szTemp("+++ATDP118\n");
var.vt = VT_BSTR;
var.bstrVal = szTemp.AllocSysString();
m_comm.SetPortOpen(TRUE);
m_comm.SetOutput(var); // WON'T WORK !!!

Please help me ...
