ok, first i had problems with repeated disconnections with my wireless router. i then solved it by disabling WEP. now i have a new problem. my wireless USB isnt even picking up any wireless networks around(there's 2 more in our area). ARRGG!!!
the other day, everything went fine. no problem. now all of a sudden my wireless is useless. help!

update:
ok if i disable SSID broadcast my wireless just cant detect anything. but if i enable broadcast i see an available signal .

That's typical - SSID is the announcing feature - i.e. your wireless access point says "I'm here, I'm called ....."
With this switched off, your wifi network won't just "find" the WAP, you have to manually enter the SSID to connect to.

<marc> i wonder what will happen if i press this...[pc][ul][li]please give feedback on what works / what doesn't[/li][li]need some help? how to get a better answer: faq581-3339[/li][/ul]
