What is win32clf.exe?

A friend of mine noticed this program running in his task list on Windows 98 SE. It resides in the C:\ directory. A search of MSDN turned up nothing. Even a google search has yeilded no useful information. Renaming it to win32clf.xxx seems to have no adverse effects, and actually boosted performance quite a bit. Just wondering if anyone out there knows what this program is. Some kind of spyware perhaps?

...as an unrequired file, classified as SPyware/Virus/or Resource hog.

Got two hits on other sites that spec it as "unidentified virus."

Thanks for the link Carrr! I'll make sure my friend gets rid of that prog. I think he was planning to reformat anyway, but this is good info to have.
