What is WFCMGR32.EXE?

Can anyone explain what wfcmgr32.exe does and why Citrix v7 installs the following registry key: (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\WFCMGR32.EXE) on the local client workstation, but Citrix v8 and Citrix v9 do not?
