On my Win2K server I have a monitoring program that sends SMS messages when there is a problem after hours. The program uses standard TAPI.
The problem is that whenever it tries to send a message it returns an error saying "telephony device is in use" and fails to send.
I am not using Dial-up networking, I cannot dial using Hyperterminal connections and I cannot work out what is doing this.
I have tried disabling all services that I don't need (and even some I do) but to no avail.
Any Ideas???
Cheers,
Sam
