How do developers go about creating and editing VBA programs? In VB6 and VB.NET I have used the Visual Studio versions that come with the developer versions of the software. Is there something similar with VBA?
Most VBA-enabled applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) come with an IDE pretty similar to that of VB: Tools/Macro/Visual Basic Editor (or Alt + F11), although, like many features, this is a little harder to find in Office 2007 applications ...
Since the system they have somehow tagged VBA onto is a closed code, full ERP system called Iscala, I guess there is some very system specific methods of using VBA with it.
The code will be aligned to the object model in terms of the properties and methods available but the basics of writing code / structure and standard functionality should all be there for it to be VBA

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
